Carl Williamson

Carl matriculated at Maritzburg College and then completed a post matric at St Andrews College in Grahamstown. He studied a BCom at University of Natal, majoring in Economics and Marketing. Carl worked in the financial services industry for 4 years. In 2002 Carl joined a prominent specialist financial recruitment company in Johannesburg. As a Senior Consultant, Carl was made a shareholder and after 5 years this company was bought out by a large staffing company in South Africa which listed in 2007. In October 2007 he relocated to KZN to start-up the Durban office servicing the KZN region. After 2 years of successfully running the office, Carl resigned, had a 6 month restraint of trade and then started TrueNorth Recruitment.

Nikki Williamson
Executive Consultant

Nikki has had a dynamic and diverse career in both Hospitality Management and Recruitment, working in the UK, USA and South Africa. She has been the Marketing Manager for a portfolio of game lodges, owned her own landscaping business, held managerial roles for a large personnel company as well as a specialist financial recruitment company. Nikki has dedicated 13 years to Leaders in Business and optimizing business for her top tier clients. She partners with Executives in providing solutions for their recruitment requirements in Senior Management and Executive positions. Nikki collaborates with JSE listed entities, multi-national companies, and is passionate about attracting and recognising high calibre professionals who fit the culture of these organisations.

Nicola started her career in the hospitality industry and worked as a Game Lodge Manager for 4 years. She realised her natural talent and passion was building relationships and connecting people and moved into the recruitment industry. Nicola has 12 years’ experience in hospitality recruitment and over 10 years’ experience as a Consultant in a specialist financial recruitment company.

Having completed 27 years of banking as Customer Service Officer, Jos moved onto fulfilling administrative and receptionist duties before joining TrueNorth Recruitment as Administration Officer.
